Luckenbach, Texas isn't so much a town as it is a legend.
It's A muse for many, A booming dance hall, and a handbuilt bungalow beneath 500-year-old oak trees where the pickers have been pickin' since 1970. Hondo Crouch bought the place in 1970 WHILE Waylon + Willie made it immortal in '77.
But when Luckenbach's name and legacy came under threat, its story needed defending, not just telling. That's where "Long Live Luckenbach" came in: a campaign built to protect the legacy of Luckenbach and everyone who's kept it alive for HALF A CENTURY.
We built a campaign that called on the memories of people near and far. Regular folks who'd heard the legend and came running, because in Luckenbach, everybody really is somebody. Then we heard from some legends themselves, Willie being one of 'em. They all spoke up in Luckenbach's defense, because some things aren't for sale, and some legacies don't belong to anyone but the place that earned them.
